EMDR Consultation

I provide video and in-person group and individual EMDR consultation to EMDR trained therapists who are looking to:

1. Fulfill the 10 hours of consultation required to complete the EMDR Basic training
2. Become EMDRIA Certified in EMDR
3. Achieve greater effectiveness as an EMDR clinician

EMDR consultation can be valuable for:

• Advancing your understanding of the 8 Phases of the EMDR Method
• Learning to educate your clients about EMDR and its usefulness
• Understanding how to effectively prepare your clients for trauma processing
• Learning to use family and trauma history-taking to assist in target development
• Case conceptualization
• Learning to develop an effective EMDR treatment plan that addresses past events, present triggers, and a future template
• Troubleshooting difficult cases
• Understanding how to use Cognitive Interweaves to increase reprocessing effectiveness.
• Developing strategies to use when trauma processing stalls.
• Learning to use EMDR for Performance Optimization
• Applying EMDR to specific clinical issues (e.g., anxiety, depression, pre-verbal trauma, panic, grief, addictive and compulsive behaviors, and relationship problems)

EMDR clinicians who have a solid understanding of EMDR basics may be interested in more advanced applications of EMDR, such as learning to address attachment deficits within the EMDR framework, learning how Ego State therapy can assist with the EMDR process, and utilizing Adult Resources in more sophisticated and creative ways to facilitate healing. I'm available for consultation sessions in person, by phone or via Skype.

The fee for group consultation is $55/hour. Please contact me for the group schedule. The fee for an hour of individual consultation is $160 per hour.

I'm an EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist and Approved Consultant as well as a Training Facilitator in Dr. Philip Manfield's EMDR Part I and II Basic Training. I also teach an EMDR Review Course for EMDR clinicians.
